Atomic bombs right? Maybe the Everfree forest is like it is due to Testing? If they have Am241 for smoke alarms, then clearly they have a, or THE, periodic table of elements. In the episode "Secret of My Excess" Spike had become a greed filled monster. Now what interested me about this episode the most was the presence of an Air Raid alarm in Ponyville. An alarm used to warn the masses about an impending Air Strike, Life threatening Weather (Pegasi weapon of choice id presume) or other forms of attack.
