Musicals and all that jazz. Anyway, Twilight ends up discovering the solution to Starswirl's spell and gets blasted with the power provided by her friends in to becoming an alicorn (like a self-test subject). In the end, she closes the episode saying that "everything is going to be just fine" before swooping in to the screen for the closing credits. Come the two-parter to start up Season 4, the first episode will be dealing with the return of Chrysalis whilst the second (and closing of this three-parter continuity chain) episode of the season will discuss Twilight's ascendancy to becoming a Princess.
