The team production was apparently facing some issues related with one episode in particular. Season 3 got delayed over the curse of the fall and it was finally released in November. When the episode 5 was on production, animation supervisors noticed a weird glitch: The face of many of the characters was blurred out, and their animation puppets would not move as they should, instead they tweened back and forth The equipment and software were blamed for this mistake, and such it was replaced. Loosing time in remaking the episode was not The issue occurred at random, as some clips worked out completely fine, some begun to show the same issue. The suspicion about a virus file started to grow, as some clips that were perfectly fine prior to the glitch started to show the same problems. The VA and SFX team was left hanging for more than a week, and with the time on their back, the Directive Board was forced to start recording the VA and fix the synching on the Sound department later. However they've also found that there was just no way of merging the sound effects with the sound effects and voices. Any software would just refuse to do it, the OS let them know there was a process on going, but then it stopped, as it never even happened When they tried to remove the audio clipping, they've found in one clip that it actually had a pattern, much like a real sound instead of just garbage noises. To that point, they ve lost at least two months trying to figure out how to solve the issue. It was until someone at the Storyboard department noticed what caused the issue She removed models of background characters at random, and as if nothing ever happened, the issue dissipated. The clip would play as normal and the audio software worked properly The animation crew, baffied, experimented with many combination of characters to see which one was causing the issue, and as they removed layer after layer of background characters, they found that there was one character preset locked into the background. Someone was working on it, and it was simply left on the background, completely faceless. It was blue, and like almost all of the characters, it had a distinctive mark on it's body, except that it was a letter, "A It wasn't weird that the crew inserted cameos to sign their work, but they couldn't find a relation on who did this and why would it just chose a letter to mark the character, when normally the characters have things such as animals or rainbows. Whenever this character was set as invisible, the animation would work as normal. They tried to drag the character out of the working crart, but whenever they moved it, the software would crash and close immediately. Trying to erase the "Symbol" (character) out of the software, would produce an error "Err 1312-aaAt+A.At(A in every software, which according to the FAQs meant absolutely nothing It was impossible to erase the symbol, however, it was possible to open it and edit it, just as long it wasn't moved or "cut. They tried amplifying them, reversing them, slowing them down, and even when they could swear have heard a few words and names, it was nowhere as clear as the Don't leave us" message That until someone noticed that the layers of audio did seemed to have a message if played all at the right time, that meant, exporting the video clip with that character only. The voice that talked seemed really amateurish, it was more like someone caught a conversation and recorded it rather than an actual line for the character. A male voice said "I tried" once, and after a two minute pause said "I tried, I tried'. The walking cycle changed, this time the character was running, to that point it was undeniable that the character leg was hurt. It was even painful to watch it struggle. In the seventh minute, the leg graphic is gone, but the character keeps running in the same fashion. Between the ninth and seven minute, the character would grow bigger, giving the impression that the camera was drawing nearer to the running character. The voice would speak again, it felt as it was truly concerned for something as it says "You did your best". The character would constantly look back as the camera draws nearer. The voice makes a barely perceptible chuckle and when the perspective is close enough to the character it says "I'm sorry" with the same spineless voice. The animation makes a fade to white. Then something quickly flashes on the screen, and the animation stops. Some claim it was an '8' shaped figure (which is what they use as a torso for the characters) with the letter A over it. Other said it was the whole character, resting spread on the ground. It was hard to come to a conclusion since right after the animation ended, the computer booted. The cause was an apparent overheat, which never happened before that. When the file was open, the entire animation was gone. Furthermore, the face of all characters was simply erased, and no matter what was the context, they ALL looked' front at the screen. The models of the character got replaced but the faceless character remained, as it would just cause conflicts, and no animator even dare to mention it. The animation was literally built above the faceless character file, (which was simply set as invisible) and discarded immediately. Once the animation was finished, exported, and edited, the animators checked the background sequences over and over again, they checked all of the sequences that use to feature the character, but it just never popped up again. The third season aired recently on The Hub" and, to the date, no one has reported any animation incident related to this 'glitch
