Even the GM you accepted spends his free time contemplating basic truths, wondering if there aren't deeper layers to them (that's me by the way), so is it truly such a surprise that the plot arcs you play into conform to that pattern? I want to reaction cast Reverse Gravity to counter Meteor swarm! Held spells only fire *after** the trigger and Meteor Swarm has an instant cast time so it would hit you, then you would fire your held spell Reverse Gravity also only targets objects, and Meteor Swarm is a spell effect and not an object { Gravity wouldn't even slow a meteor down anyway even if the mechanics did work like that M
