Reading through the Horus Heresy and get to "Fear to Tread," a Blood Angels book. Not overly interested in them, but looking forward to seeing Sanguinius. They get sent by Horus to a distant system on the edge of the galaxy and a planet bursts into the Chaos Star symbol. A Bloodthirster and a Keeper of Secrets fight with hundreds of recognizable Daemons, something sorely lacking in the rest of the series.
