The Old Ones are basically just Space Frog Grandpa's vibing while the Necrons suffer from space AIDS They get wreckt by the C'Tan so hard they create entire pantheons and species to save them because they are such frauds. Then they die miserably from Enslaver plague. A rather sad death for a species of Emperor tier psykers Halo Precursors on the other hand had a favourite kid in the Ancient humans and gave the galaxy to them Forerunners didn't really like that so they killed off the Precursors in a space pearl harbor BUT The precursors are absolutely insane. They literally can't die because they are basically disembodied shapeshifters who can reincarnate And they just where fascinated by the whole thing And to punish the Forerunners for their hubris they reincarnate as the flood. A nightmarish eldritch abomination that infects the fabric of reality, subverts the laws of physics, can break the mightiest intelligence just by speaking and is like a f----- up combination of Tyranids and Chaos One is the galactic equivalent of Grandpa being sent into the nursing home to die (Specifically by Eldrads hands as off old earth.) and the other is the equivalent of Grandpa getting murdered in his sleep then coming back as a zombie and killing everyone in the house mohammed7 07/18/2024 11:41 PM But that Zombie is f------ Cthulhu also
