High level PC becoming Patrons for NPCs would be pretty cool to show how far they have come. | /r/dndmemes

EL3 High level PCs at around level 17-20 that are magic focused like a Wizard or a Bard would totally be able to act as a Patron to make Warlocks out of low level NPCs. Celestial Warlocks already can get their powers from a Unicorn, which is a CR 5 creature. Surely PCs with the ability to warp reality, create fortresses out of thin air and turn into dragons have the experience, knowledge and power to become a patron and grant warlock powers to low level NPCs. It should totally be a thing and would be cool from a storytelling perspective. 000 Who the f--- starts a conversation like that? I just sat down!
