Ask: My son's 13th birthday is tomorrow and all he asked me for is a black iPod. I know they don't make them anymore and unfortunately with my situation I cannot afford to buy one. I really don't want to disappoint him so for one last chance I was coming here to see if anyone had one they'd be willing to part with that they don't use anymore. My daughter's birthday is the 16th of next month and also wants an iPod but doesn't care about the color. I'm just more concerned about getting my son's first as he will get his next weekend when I see him to celebrate. Bo 1h. My daughters father has a new girlfriend and a new job he's doing really well, he always gives me money. He even helps with my other kids who aren't his. But since his new girlfriend came into the picture he still gives me money, and takes his daughter every weekend, BUT he brings the gf. I don't like her and I told him to break up with her. He won't so now he's going on child support. What's a reasonable amount to ask the court? I'm a stay at home mom and would like to stay a stay at home mom. Also my current boyfriend is a stay at home dad and we need the support since we aren't working.

I hope this isn't against the rules, but my feelings have been a little hurt. A mother posted on my local group asking for assistance because she's 9 months pregnant and didn't have anything for the baby, so I did what crocheters do best, I made a matching hat, mitten, and boot set for her, and was starting on a blanket for her. I didn't expect anything in return for it, I just did it because I wanted to. When I pmed her to show her she replys with "that's sweet but no thank you, I'm looking for real clothes and baby items" I don't have money to buy expensive items so I'm feeling a little hurt that my hard work wasn't considered "real baby items".
