They used every economic trick from rationing to fake currencies to stave off economic collapse, freezing german wages at depression-era levels up till 1939, alongside the wealth of murdered holocaust victims and slave labour. Despite that, the german economy was on the brink of collapse in 1939, only starting the war, a genocidal war of robbing, pillaging, stealing, (and holocaust victim wealth and slave labour). from their neighbors sustained their unsustainable economy the pre-war german recovery, the autobhan, the volkswagen wasn't a project of the german people, but rather on one massive loan. And they paid off the debt by a genocidal bandit-war. The autobahn was paid by the future slaughter, robbing, and genocide of innocents.

The nazis economic miracle was no different from maxing out credit cards on wreckless spending, and robbing people to pay off the debt. | History Memes
