He brings out a war hammer, flips it around to the spike, and drives it into your character's helmet. The spike fails to go through, for the swing was quick and one-handed, but your character is hopeless rattled and left defenseless. The man-at-arms tackles your stunned character to the ground. What made you think that your character was any more "invincible" than the great warriors and kings of history who died from ignoble and lucky shots? When will you lean that none can be a "hero" when anyone can die from a stray blade, arrow, or bolt from a lucky peasant at the wrong time?
