well I just found why at least one of the families we adopted won't be making a thank you post. We spent over $200 on a Nike outfit and Crocs for a (supposedly 11 yr old) PA girl at D---'s and I included a gift receipt for the Crocs, but apparently they can look up the whole transaction even if the gift receipt only has one item on it, and this person returned everything on Dec 22! We were really excited to see a pic of this child in her new gear, but now I feel like I just got scammed and I'll probably never adopt a child from this program again over age 5. Most kids stuff isn't even worth returning, but older kids asking for name brand items is now going to be a red flag for me. 47W Like Reply 10

Bo 1h. My daughters father has a new girlfriend and a new job he's doing really well, he always gives me money. He even helps with my other kids who aren't his. But since his new girlfriend came into the picture he still gives me money, and takes his daughter every weekend, BUT he brings the gf. I don't like her and I told him to break up with her. He won't so now he's going on child support. What's a reasonable amount to ask the court? I'm a stay at home mom and would like to stay a stay at home mom. Also my current boyfriend is a stay at home dad and we need the support since we aren't working.

I hope this isn't against the rules, but my feelings have been a little hurt. A mother posted on my local group asking for assistance because she's 9 months pregnant and didn't have anything for the baby, so I did what crocheters do best, I made a matching hat, mitten, and boot set for her, and was starting on a blanket for her. I didn't expect anything in return for it, I just did it because I wanted to. When I pmed her to show her she replys with "that's sweet but no thank you, I'm looking for real clothes and baby items" I don't have money to buy expensive items so I'm feeling a little hurt that my hard work wasn't considered "real baby items". I hope I didn't break any rules..pic of the hat just to show it.
