Today, though was troubling to me. From the minute I walked in the door till the time I walked out, it was continual "Pride" shirts in your face, worn by employees. Let me say that I have 2 dear friends that are gay, so it is not about that in and of itself. What I watched, though, was the reaction of many at seeing the shirts. My question is, why has Panera decided to get on a soap box about Pride Month when they are not on a soap box about other things? To me, what I saw today is and will only add to the division in this country's people. Shame on Panera. Though I have been a faithful "Paneraer", today bothers me enough that the situation may change. I feel very sad that Panera would choose to do this instead of working on unifying people.
