Doncaster Police Station Police station PLACE DETAILS Reviews aren't verified Ⓒ M 4 years ago I booked myself in for bed and breakfast but it was a bit of a last minute decision during a lovely night out in the picturesque town centre. The staff actually organised a car to pick me up and the driver even escorted me to the front desk - was a nice touch! I was very disapointed with the room and the bedding though. it was very basic and the walls were covered in new age art work which was basically just scribbles and peoples names. I assume it was the towns equivalent of Banksy? I asked for an extra pillow and some late night refreshment but just got an extra blanket and a very weak milky tea. I struggled to sleep as alot of the other guests were being noisy so I asked for some reading material but the only literature they could provide me with was a small pamphlet on something called "smart water" I only managed to get a small amount of sleep before I was rudely awoken and asked for my breakfast order. I went for the cooked breakfast expecting a full english but was disapointed with a droopy thin sausage and some luke warm beans. It was awful and ruined my whole weekend. I tried to go back to sleep but wasnt allowed to have a late check out and so was forced out into the cold at 730am. I havent been back since and I refuse to go anyway near ever again! My stay was back in 2008 so things may have changed since then. 35 Share
