← 10 reviews a month ago I called to donate a sofa, and even with some stains, was a pretty good one. The two carries come and said they can not take. It's ok. Them I ask a favor to help put the sofa on the sidewalk, wich will take 5 minutes if all that... look, I didn't ask for they to put, just to help me. And so they say they don't offer this "service". I TRIED one last time ask for help because I was alone. And they simple ignore me... So I'm not a Christian but I was for some time and I know the history of St Vicent of Paul. He dedicated his life in help the other... not for money... just following christ himself. Back in Brazil my father work for st vicent organization and I remember he aways helping people, even if there's no money or use for that furniture, just because he doesn't feels right leaving people suffer. : I move this whole 3 sits couch alone and this raining weather, but I will make sure to tell everyone I know how St Vicent in Madison is not about helping the others... is more about individualism and make money.
