Normally, if a video game becomes unresponsive, it needs to be reset. However, in Super Mario Advance 2, a glitch exists that makes the game unplayable for only 3 hours, after which it automatically fixes itself and continues as though nothing happened.

The truth about Stop Watch

Supper Mario Broth @MarioBrothBlog Previously, I have posted about the enigmatic "Stop Watch" character, an animate version of the Stop Watch item from Super Mario Bros. 2 that appeared in a few licensed works. Reader @RealSplatJam discovered that it likely originated from a misinterpretation of the game's manual. Stop watch The Stop Watch is an item in Super Mario Bros. 2 that causes all objects except the player to briefly freeze in time when collected. In the manual, the only illustration for it was the bluny screenshot shown above. காரக்ka That image actually depicts Mario plucking a Stop Watch from the ground. STOP WATCH The reason this was chosen instead of an image of just the item is because the item immediately disappears upon plucking it. Without extracting the sprite from the game's files, it is impossible to take a screenshot of it alone. However, the blurry image has resulted in one of the artists at Nintendo of America misinterpreting Mario and the item as one creature with a face and a clock on its head. This design was included in character reference documents given to companies seeking to make licensed works.
