Although I booked it through an agent, there might be chance where my agent missed to communicate this. On the other hand, the hotel did checked and made a copy of my passport, where my birthday is written. So regardless, I believed the hotel should have noted my birthday either from the agent or my passport. Hence, I thought there would be some sort of birthday surprise or hospitality for me from the hotel. Unfortunately, there's nothing being arranged for my birthday until an hour before my birthday ends, I called the reception and ask if there's anything for my birthday. They finally gave me 2 packs of snacks. Well, I know it is not a guaranteed responsibility that the hotel must provide special services for customer's birthday. It just my bad that I over expected what a 4 to 5-star hotel would be, and over expected what so-called "Omotenashi 5₺TL" spirit in Japan. In the past, I stayed at Hotel Amigo in Brussels, Belgium for my birthday, and Hotel Amigo gave me a free upgrade of the room, a birthday cake and a hand written message card. Funny thing is that unlike this time, when I booked Hotel Amigo, I didn't even tell them it was my birthday in advance. They noticed it when they checked my passport during check-in, and upgrade me right away. I still cannot believe Hotel Amigo and The Prince Park Tower Tokyo are both shown as 5-star hotel on google, because the difference of their hospitality is heaven and hell. I guess Hotel Amigo set a my bar too high, and I also learnt not to trust the hotel star rating on google! Congratulations!! You have won the Humbug award!!!! Because you chosen to be a Grinch, and not put up Christmas lights you have disappointed all the children, young, and old in your community! LED lights are inexpensive to run and can be purchased even in second hand stores for reasonable prices! They can last years! I'm sure cost is not an issue and it is more about being too busy with your devices than anything else! Do you remember when you were a child and you saw all the Christmas lights on your street? What happened? Next year do better and bring a smile to those in need.....but remember you still have time! It only takes a little effort to make a big difference! Love strong and love long! Dear Neighbor, we first want to thank you for taking care of replacing your fence. However we wanted to share a couple of things. First it is unfortunate that we do not take into consideration what the other fences look like besides yours, wish that your post were the same and picket size as well as a border on the top and bottom to secure it better. If you look at yours now, you have 1 post that is higher then your fence, you should have the fencing company shave off some of it, I think they forgot and it is behind your shed so you don't notice it, the other thing is alot of your pickets are not the same length so on the bottom you see large spaces. If you had a border on the bottom you would hide that. Just wanted to share this because it is important for us all to take pride in our homes and your fencing is part of the gateway to the entrance of our neighborhood. Thank you for your consideration.
