Entitled karen ask me to cater her brat on a plane It happened on my last holidays. I took a trip to Uk to go see my family. I saw a woman with the o'l karen haircut boarding with her child. I knew it was fine becuz he was not a goddamn baby that would cry all flight. When i got to my seat, i found that i was beside of the karen. I didnt say a word. On the seats, there are screens that allows to watch films or even see the progress of the flight. When we took off, spoiled brat was really interested in my screen. Though i was watching Top Gun:Maverick, that kid wanted to watch this film too. Instead of watching it on his personal screen. He sat in front of me and blocked the vision. I took it up and put it back into its seat. It started to cry like its life depended on it. The karen quickly calmed it down and yelled at me to tell her child to watch films on my screen. I argued back to turn on his screen so it could watch whatever it wanted. It was the wrong thing to say. She called a flight attendant and argued with the poor lady. I seized that opportunity to get a drink and i think i saved that poor lady who had nothing to do with that incident. For the karen, she had to pay a fine for her kid who ended up breaking my screen. For me, i had a few money left and upgraded to business class. There, i got better meals. When i was leaving my seat to move to business, the karen was like: i would kill you if i could. What a sweet karma it was.

I went to purchase it this week, and it's now priced at $2200 (and preported to be on sale)???? So, I chatted with customer service online and sent them the time-stamped photo of the item I'd taken last week showing the $1499 price. They said there was nothing they could do and I'd have to pay $700 more for the same item because I waited a week. I then called customer service and spoke with several people. After waiting a half hour to speak with a manager, Maria Smith got on the line, and she did nothing but repeat the same diatribe. I then asked to speak with HER supervisor and she said her leader doesn't take incoming calls. I asked to leave a message, was not allowed to do so, and was also not given name or contact information to reach out via email. Basically, they all shared that the "higher ups in their organization had mandated that price adjustments for any reason were not allowed". Alex Bellos, i see you're leaving the organization, but I guess not leaving a good legacy. #customerservice

1h Possibly unpopular opinion but I as well as a few friends have had miscarriages and this time of year it's a bit offensive when you all that have multiple healthy children share miscarriage posts and act as if you can "relate" like sure, okay maybe you've had some rough times but at the end of the day you and your lover have produced multiple healthy babies and it's offensive when you act like you "understand" the struggles of miscarriages or inability to get pregnant maybe I'm just the jealous type but I find it incredibly insensitive and offensive. Not to diminish the hardships of labor and pregnancy but also if you have multiple healthy babies then maybe STFU when other people can't even carry one child full term during the holiday season Like Comment Send
