So on my way into work I see a mother and son at their car preparing to go in. The mother is blasting christmas music with her door open. This is a public space and within 50ft there's at least 10 and constantly more coming and going. Her son, in his teens, notices people are concerned about the music and he says "sorry everyone". Seems like a respectable child shes raised. Then when her song is over she gets out of the car and all I hear is him get a bit louder and say "what no christmas presents?!" And she says "you have some nerve asking for christmas presents after I jist spent $1000 on you. There's nothing you need or want. Now I told you to put your mask on and stop touching your face!!" At that point I was about 50yrds away and could still hear her. After that I was inside and I just felt sorry for her son. Just felt like sharing this.

Call in sick policy... Don't Do It! Calling in sick is probably the most destructive thing you can do here besides stealing or setting the place on fire. I worked 16 years at the Providence Marriott, and I called in sick exactly 1 time. Also, your "sick pay" that is listed on your paycheck is treated just like vacation time, we were mandated by the state to give you that so we took away the vacation time in leu of Sick time. But anytime you need to schedule a regular day off, you can request so and we will pay you in "sick time" if you have any available and that is perfectly ok.....but calling in sick is perfectly NOT OK. We've had this game for two months. It's one my kids play daily. They love playing against each other and occasionally we all get to play. It's not as fun as wii sports use to be, but we have a really fun time all together. Bowling is our favorite. I had no complaints about this game until tonight when one of the "rewards" for bowling in the league was demons!! Demons!??? Seriously as a reward!??? I don't know why it isn't related to any of the sports but demons of all things is not ok. My kids are young. I don't want them to see that. They don't need to see that. Why couldn't this be a clean fun family game!? Why does demonic stuff always have to be infiltrated into anything our kids see or do. As a momma I'm tired of seeing all of this and explaining to my young babies what all this garbage is. This was too much. It doesn't come with a disclaimer. Unfortunately, and I have broken up due to some recent and irreparable problems. We have decided to end our relationship and not go forth with any future proceedings. However, we are remaining civil and are still a team for our son. After hours of tears, mental exhaustion, and even disassociation, I have come to this decision.
