MY STORY (Everybody has one) I am sharing mine with you in hopes that it will bless and encourage you. I was unwanted and born into a violent and chaotic environment. I endured abuse of every kind. As a child I used food to comfort me and in my teen years replaced that with drugs, alcohol and sex to ease the pain I felt daily! These choices had produced so much fear, guilt and shame, that at the ripe old age of 24 and after giving birth to my first son, I was committed to a psychiatric hospital, hopeless, depressed, and suicidal. In that dark room, desperate, I cried out, "God, if you're real, get me out of this pit!" I had looked for Him in many places: the stars, psychics, witchcraft, nature, and drugs, but never found Him. I was eventually released from the hospital and after returning home, a friend visited who brought me a bible. I started in the New Testament and learned about Jesus. I listened to some Christian radio teachings and began to understand that He is the true God, Son of His Father God, and that He had come to die, to pay for my (every) sin. I didn't understand everything, but the more I got to know Him, the more light flooded into my life. The depression slowly left and I came to know Him as my Healer. Plans started to unfold because He is my Guide. The guilt, fear and shame left because He is my Protector and the lifter of my head. A relationship was established with my parents, because He is all about restoration. I share this with you because we all find ourselves wondering; is there a God, does He care, can He help me? The answer to all of the above is YES!! There is no magic formula to Him, simply be real. Tell HIM you want to know Him. Ask Jesus Christ to forgive you and He will! Ask Him to be the Lord of your life and you will never regret it. I had made a mess out of my life and He turned it into a message that I hope will encourage you to turn to HIM. He allowed our paths to cross today, this was NO accident. Life is short and full of challenges. Don't face them alone. Call on the ONE who made you and loves you so much that He gave His life for you. Jesus Christ, Savior, mine and yours. I am SO grateful He made a way for you to receive my story. Please read one of the gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke or John. Get to know Jesus, HE IS OUR ONLY HOPE!! ***** Karen

Driving past Firehouse 1 around 10:40 pm Wednesday night, I had to slow down and change lanes because of 3 jackasses literally standing in the middle of Main.. One of them was motioning at me, so as I passed I rolled down my window. They were wearing their firefighter costumes, and one of them told me to slow down. Which would have been OK... if I HADN'T ACTUALLY BEEN GOING UNDER THE SPEED LIMIT. You need to tell your stupid idiot Firehouse 1 crew to quit standing in the middle of the street and being assholes, or someone's going to run them over.

Ok friends. We are looking to rehome our 6.5 month toy poodles He is a really sweet dog and we would love to keep him but we took him before we found out we were pregnant with baby #3 and it is proving to be a little difficult to have a puppy along with 2 toddlers and a baby on the way. We love him, but he needs to be somewhere that he does not need to be in a kennel all day and can have more attention during the day since we aren't home. Concerned citizen, 08/31/2022 To whom it may concern or whoever is driving the fire truck for practice non-emergency runs through the hours of 10 P.M.-9 A.M. nightly. I would kindly ask you to stop! You are disturbing and waking people in the neighborhoods off of Leadmine Road. I personally live on Longwood Drive which is directly off Leadmine Road and to me more specific at the bottom of Leadmine, near the intersection of Millbrook Road. Your station fire truck wakes me every night, in the A.M. hours with the extremely loud siren; you are disturbing the peace and creating sleep disorder! It appears to me this is some sort of compulsion or obsession of the driver, since it happens every night around the same time, I have documented this! Leadmine Road is purely residential! There are alternate routes such as Creedmoor Road to take for emergency assistance. I am bringing this to your attention in order for me not to escalate this to your superiors or take legal action.. WIBTA if I called a noise complaint on my neighbor's drum circle? so I live in a predominantly first Nations community in northern Canada, I myself am not first nations. lately about once a week someone down the street from me has been having a drum circle. it's loud enough that I can hear it over my tv at my prefered volume. as far as I'm aware it's not for anything specific like event or anything. in our city the noise bylaw is just that your music or noise is never allowed to be a bother to others at any time of day. so today when I got home at 8 pm and they are drumming away. and I can hear it over my AC and my tv I was super tempted to call in a complaint, but I feared the repercussions from tthe neighborhood being the only not First nations person on the street it would be fairly obvious who made the complaint. but honestly I just don't want to hear constant drumming for like an hour. why should I have to put up with it. so WIBTA edit here is the bylaw I'm referring too a) No person shall make, cause or permit any noise or sound on private or public property that unreasonable disturbs, or is likely to disturb the quiet, peace, rest, enjoyment, comfort or convenience of persons in the neighbourhood or vicinity. also no I didnt move here I have lived here my whole life. and no I'm not a colonisers because I was born no l didn't steal anyone's land. and I live in one of the most violent cities in the country I'm not keen to go poke my nose where it's not invited. 816 ↑ Share Aw: 957

• 11h Steal my parking spot when you work at the store So this happened a few months ago. I was at a big box store and the parking lot was full as usual. I drove around a row and found a decent spot and put on my blinker and was ready to pull in when a truck out of nowhere flew in and stole my spot. The lady in the truck jumped out, she was rushing, and didn't acknowled me. I was mad but went about my business. After I finished my shopping and was headed to the cash register guess who was at the register next to mine checking out customers... Yes, lady in the truck who stole my spot! Oh man, that set me off that a store employee would be the culprit as I worked retail back in the day and know employees are supposed to leave front parking spots for customers and probably shouldn't steal spots for sure. So, I asked my cashier what the spot thief's name was and she asked why so I told her. She said yes, employees were supposed to park in the back of the store and rolled her eyes when she told me that ladies name. So I proceeded to the customer service desk and filled out four different comment cards on that employee, all using different writing giving her bad reviews and put them in the box. I doubt anything ever came of it but it made me feel better! 140 68 Share +

Our tacos also came with absolutely no tomatoes or cheese. The green sauce was WAYY too spicy too. Brought it up with our waitress and she said that this was "authentic". Two stars only cause whatever wasn't botched in our order, was delicious. B1
