K : 2 months ago Booked a furniture collection. They confirmed date of collection. Phoned in morning to say they would be there between 3-6pm. Waited in for 3 hours (not my house), phoned various times but they would not answer phone. Left at 6pm as had other commitments, they called at 6.20pm to say they would be there soon. No apology or anything, was pointless at this time as could not go back and had already rearranged my plans to be there from 3-6pm. You try and do some good by donating and just gets thrown back in your face! USELESS!!! We didn't come to hear a lecture on how the white people treated slaves, we came to get this history of a southern plantation and get a tour of the house and grounds. The tour guide was so radical about slave treatment we felt we were being lectured and bashed about the slavery. My ancestors were from Sicily, never owned slaves, and my husbands were German, and none of his ever owned slaves. I am by far not a racist or against all Americans having equal rights but this was my vacation and now we are crossing all plantation tours off our list, it was just not what we expected. I'll go back to Louisiana and see some real plantations that are so much more enjoyable to tour.

Aug 2-Q What do you do when you go to a restaurant and your waiter is an Atheist? Normally I'll pay without leaving a tip and write a bad review on Google. This past weekend I decided to be more proactive. I ordered the chicken livers and when the Atheist brought it to the table I insisted that I had ordered steak. I made that loser take it back to the kitchen and make me a steak. Then I complained to the manager about the Atheist and skipped out on the bill. Establishments need to be taught it's not ok to hire Atheists

The other life guard was not looking at the kids and not letting them go down the slide correctly, he had his back on the wall and as a life guard PROTECTING children is super irresponsible of him to do! 2 years ago ndmages may be subject to copyright : I AM LIVID..been wanting to try this place for months but it's ALWAYS closed..finally came by today..there was only one table occupied...they were a nice family..said the food was good..now, I LOVE Louisiana cuisine, but gumbo is ALWAYS hit and miss..I am not going to lie, I was a little hesitant bc there is only one man there and he is not what I am used to seeing in Cajun cooking..he is an Asian man and at first he was nice and witty...THEN HE GOTplain rude..at first I asked to taste the gumbo..he sd no bc everything is made to order..NO FREAKING AUTHENTIC GUMBO IS MADE TO ORDER..next he sd if I have questions I can leave bc he only uses the best ingredients..he has customers coming from other cities and he didn't even serve the local people here..a lot of the items are handwritten I'm CHICKEN scratch.so of course I had questions!! When I actually was ready to order (was gonna try beignets, cup of seafood gumbo, and fried chicken), he was talking so much UNPROFESSIONAL trash that I walked out..he should not be at the front representing this business..he was telling the ONE TABLE that was there that he has a real estate business and he only opens sometimes bc they are losing money bc food costs..NO YOU ARENT.MAKING MONEY BC YOU ARE FLAT OUT THE RUDEST OWNER OF A BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENT IVE EVER MET! the lady that unfortunately ordered bf me sd she wasn't coming back when she interjected in his rant and sd that 'everyone has different tastes and you have to ask questions'..he was.lime well if u DNT wanna spend ur money of question anything u can leave and u can read the reviews and know I'm good..it's commom sense..HE IS DEFINITELY NOT A REPRESENTATION OF LOUISIANA CULTURE, THE PLACE DSNT LOOK,CLEAN BEHIND THE COUNTER, AND I CAN SEE WHY ITS SO EMPTY INSIDE..
