When did it become acceptable to not make sure your children ate lunch at school? I don't understand this, everyone's excited to be on the government dole, that's all this is. Pathetic. Like 5d it's not great, in any way. We had free lunch for people who qualified when I was a kid, it wasn't a big deal. EVERYONE doesn't need it. Oh and I'm guessing mid terms is why now. And by the way my kids take lunch to school some of the days, eat breakfast before they go to school and take a good snack and a water bottle to school and on top of that I'm a lunch lady. I mean if we're going to governmentally force women to have kids in this country we should demand all of those children be well taken care of. Like 5d because making sure kids are well fed is the responsibility of the PARENT NOT THE STATE. There are plenty of programs in place to make sure kids that are eligible get the help they need, why should people who are able to to feed their kids, have it paid for by people like my 82 year old mother, on a fixed income. She was never on the government dole and STILL isn't! Like 5d Edited excuse me, the GOVERNMENT took that money from her, her entire working life! Why should the money they steal from her be used to feed kids who's parents can actually AFFORD it? My parents worked their asses off to provide for 5 kids, why isn't that expected anymore? Oh right, because if people like you. Like 5d oh and you're ridiculous. I didn't expect the government or anyone else to feed my kids, I worked two jobs in order to do that. Work is a four letter word for you huh? Like 5d 22 16 3 I have no problem feeding the kids you never know if they get a meal at home. So, if taxes go up to feed the children so let it be... Like 5d 10 no I will not let it be. When will parents be held responsible? What else are parents going to turn over to the government when it comes to their kids? You people are blind. Like 5d stated an unpopular opinion about school lunches and they were off and running. I've been bashed by almost every person on this thread, not a peep except from the people crying over being treated the way they've had no problem and seem to enjoy treating me. Personally I don't care, just pointing out facts. If people are going to give it to me, I'm certainly giving it back. Like Reply 3d A oh really? I find it hilarious that there were over 360 comments, I certainly didn't post them all, but it's all me, right? No nasty comments directed towards me? I stated an opinion, hundreds of comments engaged ME, none of them were nice, but me defending myself is the problem.
