Dobbie R. 0120 ✰✰ 1 year ago I went to Dollar tree @ son 3/7/21 around 4:30. Sales associate, Jenny was extremely rude. She shouldn't be working around people. Maybe she didn't get any! My total was $4.31 and gave a $20 and I was trying to get the 31 cents but she said it was too late and it was whatever the computer said. I told her that I was trying to get the change and all she had to do is add 31 & 69 to get another dollar cuz I didn't want change. She said she couldn't. I asked, you can't add simple math? It has nothing to do with the computer. She is so ignorant! First, you don't treat customers like that. Second, it's a cash register, not computer. Third, she doesn't know how to not be rude. I had a woman call in just P----- because when she went into the deep mountains, she LOST CELL PHONE SIGNAL for 30 MINUTES! She yelled and screamed at me that why is she paying for service if she isn't getting it! She demanded I refund her for her "inconvenience". I placed her on hold and calculated exactly how much inconvenience she had. "Absolutely ma'am. I can see why this would be frustrating. Stand by a moment and I will adjust your bill!" So I credited her bill a nickel and came back on. As I recall, her monthly bill was about $70. I took 30 days, multiplied it by 24 hours, then multiplied that by 60 minutes showing there's about 43,200 minutes in a month. $70/43200= 0.0016. 30 minutes x 0.0016 = 0.048. She's been on the phone for at least 30 minutes by this point mind you. 6839 "Hello ma'am thank you so much for your patience. By my math, you were robbed of 5 cents worth of your plan, which I have credited back to you. Is there anything else I can assist you with?" She just screamed obscenities at me then hung up. Edit: f--- ATT btw. I gave away so much money working there, but only to people who were kind and patient. If you showed me even the most basic of human decency I'd sometimes just give you 50% off your bill because of your kindness.
