$35 an hour cash. I have substantial work around the outside of my house Ive wanted to get done for months. Im crazy busy and when I finally get home I just want to be dad without the mountain of work on my mind. I have about 30-50 hours of hard labor I gotta get done. Digging, weeding, moving stone and dirt, edging etc. $35 an hour cash. No nonsense hard work. I need someone who has that amount of free time available over the next few weeks. Now for the necesarry preemptive assholism: Dont waste my time. Im doing this cause I dont have time as is. I am not looking to chat with a friend, I honestly prefer the work goes to someone I dont socialize with much. If you work half as hard as I do, u qualify. ←r/AmltheAsshole 3: AITA for not making my daughter give up her seats on a train? I (43F) am on vacation in Ireland with my husband (44M) and our six children. A couple days ago, we went on a day trip from Dublin to Kilkenny, a city about 1.5 hours away. We had a very pleasant day, but this experience almost ruined it. As we were sitting on the train waiting for it to depart, this young Irish lady (approx. 25F) got on the carriage and approached us. She was admittedly very polite and told us that our daughter (9F) was sitting in her assigned seat. I informed her that there was no assigned seating on the train. She told me there is if you book online in advance and pointed to a sign above the seat where her name was displayed. My husband joked that we didn't know that was a name as it just looked like a random string of letters, which seemed to upset her. She dropped her polite facade and told us to make our daughter move immediately as she paid for that seat specifically for a reason (she didn't say what the reason was, so who knows if its a valid one or not). I told her that I wasn't going to make my daughter move and that she should be understanding of the fact that we are a family who have travelled a long distance to visit her beautiful country and we just want to sit together. She said thats not her problem and if we wanted to sit together as such a large group, we should have had the "common sense" to book online in advance. My husband then, admittedly, raised his voice at her and said "listen here, young lady..." She cut him off and said, and I quote, "don't call me young lady, you f------ Yankee bastard", turned around and walked away. I don't know where she went and I never saw her again.
