A couple days ago, we went on a day trip from Dublin to Kilkenny, a city about 1.5 hours away. We had a very pleasant day, but this experience almost ruined it. As we were sitting on the train waiting for it to depart, this young Irish lady (approx. 25F) got on the carriage and approached us. She was admittedly very polite and told us that our daughter (9F) was sitting in her assigned seat. I informed her that there was no assigned seating on the train. She told me there is if you book online in advance and pointed to a sign above the seat where her name was displayed. My husband joked that we didn't know that was a name as it just looked like a random string of letters, which seemed to upset her. She dropped her polite facade and told us to make our daughter move immediately as she paid for that seat specifically for a reason (she didn't say what the reason was, so who knows if its a valid one or not). 24% I told her that I wasn't going to make my daughter move and that she should be understanding of the fact that we are a family who have travelled a long distance to visit her beautiful country and we just want to sit together. She said thats not her problem and if we wanted to sit together as such a large group, we should have had the "common sense" to book online in advance. She cut him off and said, and I quote, "don't call me young lady, you f------ Yankee bastard", turned around and walked away. I don't know where she went and I never saw her again. They used to have a guy names Randy working there and he treated me really well every time. because of that, I gave them all of my business. well they fired Randy, i guess because he cared about the customers. That was about 10 years ago. Ever since then I have nothing but problems and Racial hostility from most of them. If your not Mexican, you can see the pure hatred and feel the hostility from the Ghetto workers who work there. And this is most of them. I think the owner, Kenny Thompson is to cheap to hire quality workers. Everywhere else I go for masonry supplies I get treated really well. It just this place. They really don't care about their cus- tomers at all!!
