In Argentina, people who export services and physical goods must have their dollars exchanged at official price, which is way lower than the clandestine dollar, and the dollar paid for services overseas (which has the official dollar price and two taxes, one of them can be recovered back, but it is locked behind a very laborious process, and the inflation kinds of kill the point). She supported this, until she worked for an overseas university, and she had to see getting half of the money she worked for.
