3 months ago Very disappointed in this business owner, not the actual zoo. Super unprofessional, not courteous, not friendly. We arrived at 5:15, not knowing they stopped selling tickets at 5. We drive an hour and a half to come there and we were told we couldn't go in. Ok.. but she was so rude and so adamant that rules couldn't be broken, no even to let us in for a 45 min trip to the zoo for my daughter, who we'd told all day we would take her. We were held up by storms and got there as soon as we could, PLEADED to just go in and promised to not be out late. She was super unreasonable with her justification and attitude, and super unfriendly with her general attitude. Had she even been kind and not so rude, we would have understood. But three hours of driving with a toddler to the zoo only to end up home at dinner time without seeing the animals she'd waited all day to see. We left with her crying that she didn't want to leave. I feel like any human being with half a heart would have maybe been understanding in some way. Not this woman. S Share

If you keep your dog on the leash and another dog comes up to say hello, the dog on the leash feels defensive. It cannot get away and feels the need to protect himself and his owner. All the dogs have a good time running around while the owners chat, so that is a good place to go to encourage socialization. There is also a dog training class running on Saturday morning, on the field opposite the Spar in Protea Road, where help in socialization can be given.

Community Page 7m I have been upset this afternoon by New World staff. I will be going elsewhere for my groceries from now on. I paid $15 at the checkout forgot to buy masks rushed off to get them and returned to pay the required $8 99 to the same checkout person meaning I had paid over $20 although it was two transactions within just over a minute between them. I thought l was entitled to a sticker but apparently was not as the transactions were separate. Personally I feel that this was extremely unfair to the extent of being ridiculous. Obviously these people do have their rules but l have been a customer there for the last four years. I am elderly and a pensioner and you would have thought I had been expecting them to fork out thousands of dollars not a paltry sticker that wouldn't have been coming out of their pockets anyway.
