While in the new Dollar Tree store the other day there was a young couple shopping there as well. They were talking as they shopped and every second word that came out of their mouths was F-- It was totally sickening.. I got tired of it so I asked to talk to the manager. He came to the checkout and I mentioned it to him saying that is not acceptable and shoppers should not have to listen to that while in his store. His response was " ill go talk to him after I check a few people through “ (there was a cashier already working there.. even though there was a line up I still feel he should have dealt with it right away. ) I dont know if he ever did say anything as I just left the store disgusted, and probably will not shop there again. Why did he not act right away ? Why do these young people feel they need to use such language anyways never mind when in public where there are many people within ear shot. Using that word once in a while isnt too bad but I am not exaggerating when I say every second word. Not acceptable in my books ! and 51 others 62 Comments

Hey, fellas ! Back at it again with a new Karen story. I didn't get in much trouble for this as I do in most in this lil series. This was a while ago, first when I started my job. I was around the electronics area, where we sell phones and tv's and computers and other products. I was doing returns. Returns are basically leftovers that your mom decides to reused in another part of the next meal. I didn't really like returns to begin with so I was not rushing. So as I'm walking, day dreaming. Out of nowhere, the girl in front of me who is walking with a guy, falls over in midwalking and falls into a display of gaming consoles. I assume she fainted but the moment she hit the ground she immediately sat up. She didn't say anything. I'm fully in shock, I don't know what happened and don't know what to do. Then I hear a loud squawk. "OMG ! AIN'T YOU GONNA HELP HER, MOVE OUT OF THE WAY !,", shrieks the wild Karen, she pushed me aside dramatically and drops down on her knees and uses her PHD skills to ask this poor girl questions. "Aww, are you ok ??", coos the Karen. "Do you faint alot ??",. She then asks the girl if she wants a drink, the girl nods. The Karen heaves herself up and turns to me, face full of disgust, and hisses. "Get out of the way !", she barks and rushed past me, sprinting down the aisles like a track star. Leaving her poor 9 year old child, clutching the kart, scared as hell of what just occurred. I turn towards the man and ask his if his partner is ok. And he shrugs at me. I decide I need to get the heck outta dodge, but just as I'm leaving, a spot the Karen sprinting back, with a 24 pack of Gatorade, RIPPING IT OPEN !! I know for a fact that she had just grabbed that off a shelf. I assume she had to pay for it after the whole ordeal was over. I hope that girl is ok though, she looked very shaken up. I was questioned by a manager and told the story bit by bit like I'm telling you all now. And for all you gamers out there, don't worry, the gaming consoles were all okay.

As close contacts to their students, teachers had to expose others. There are no easy answers when it comes to Covid. But the School Union is confident that a collective approach to safety will yield better answers. I'd like to know who wrote these b------- paragraphs in the Union Newsletter that was sent out last night. Did you speak with anyone on the COVID team before you wrote this? I understand that you're going after administration, but in the end you've undermined the work of people who are dedicating 24/7 to keeping the community safe. The nurses and staff who are involved with keeping all of us safe deserve an apology for this. It's clear that whoever thought it was ok to put this in writing did not consult with the team. FULLY VACCINATED PEOPLE DO NOT NEED TO QUARANTINE IF THEY AREN'T SHOWING SYMPTOMS!!!
