Romanian 15 year old Alexandra Macesanu in August 2019 was kidnapped and locked in culprit's basement, but he forgot to take her phone. She called 112 (Romanian equivalent of 911), but was dismissed as a prank. She called three times total to no avail. By the time a search was launched, 19 hours later and found, she was already dead.
