As an Asian American and member of the LGBTQ+ community, I must stand up against hate speech and call it out when I see it. As a City Councilmember and a candidate running for election, it's my duty to reach my constituents, listen to what is important to them and make informed decisions. There's no room for hate in our city. I have a no soliciting sign on my door for a reason. On a nice Saturday afternoon myself and my wife and my downstairs tenant were all taking a lovely siesta when some mother rang our doorbell and put your piece unwanted solicitation in our door waking the dogs and waking us and the neighbors with an uproar. I will do everything in my power to see you never get elected to any office higher than dog catcher. The kid was roughly about 4/5 years old and picked up my sons phone from the floor where he was playing. When my son asked for him to return his phone a long blonde hair woman in her 20's wearing a red top and dark blue jeans (believed to be mum), began to shout at my son. She then took the child and my sons phone into a white & red mini and drove off. I seriously suggest that if the female reads this post, that she makes contact with the spotted page and gets in touch with me in order to return the phone as your vehicle registration was clocked, a picture taken and the details passed to the police.
