See More 4 Years Ago See Your Memories > May 5, 2017 O THE MAIN ITEM that still so many people don't know about, the one thing that actually destroyed the insurance companies...Obamacare mandated that providers were only allowed to make 20% gross profit AFTER paying claims. That means 20% to pay for all overhead, including staff, rent, etc., etc. They were being driven into bankruptcy. The goal of Obamacare was to get us to universal/socialized healthcare. We were almost there. We are not going to get from "almost shattered" to "perfectly repaired" overnight.
