John SEQUOLA 21h O The face of a hungry and disappointed 9yr old. Tonight I took jonathan there because he wanted a baked potato. We got there at 7:50pm. Waited in line for about 5 minutes. Got to the counter where we were ignored by the 4 girls behind the register putting together orders, who all made eye contact with me at one point or another. Finally one gal decides to take our order. I order my him a potato and she says" were out". Jonathan responds, "can I have a kids grilled cheese sandwich please"? The girl responds " we are about to close so we are not making any more hot sandwiches or food". My son looks at me with the biggest disappointed look and says " its ok dad, I wont eat, you go ahead and order". I immediately look at look at the girl and say" IT'S 7:59, YOU ARE STILL OPEN, WE HAVE BEEN IN LINE FOR ALMOST 10 MINUTES, AND NOW YOUR GOING TO REFUSE TO MAKE A 9 YEAR OLD A GRILLED CHEESE"? She replied, " Like I said, we are about to close, he can have a cold sandwich". I threw the chips we had grabbed off the shelf onto the counter and walked out. I was about to drop at least $50 to feed my family. That would have paid about 4 hours of that gals pay. Your overly priced sandwiches are good, but they are not good enough for my family anymore! Dear Anonymous Passerby, Don't worry, you're safe now! Your act of casual cruelty was successful. The complaint you lodged with the HOA was heard. They had me take down the small treefort that I built on this location with my sons during the pandemic. No longer will its presence offend your walk) past my house. Please enjoy your stroll free from the sound of my children's play and laughter. They are safely back inside now, watching television I'm sure. Enjoy the unobstructed view of my backyard.
