UNPOPULAR OPINION Posted by u/Vollkorntoastbrot • 2mo 1 Fake Christmas presents aren't funny and don't teach kids to behave. It's the same every year, some stupid parents decide to buy a carton of a console/phone/pc or anything that's expensive and quite desired by most kids. They decide to gift it to their kids while then filming them getting hyped before they actually open it and find a book, or a apple or something else in the carton instead of the item that should be in there. The parents seem to think it's funny and often laught at their kids while filming their disappointment, and then put that on Facebook or other social media. Doing that to your kid is bad enough, and only teaches them to not trust their parents, why do they then also have to laugh at them and upload it to social media so that everyone can see their disappointment.
