My 11 year old is wearing his "hugs over mask" shirt to school today. He left the house saying "come at me" lol. Proud mama moment. UPDATE: He just got back from school, and the principal just called my husband. She complained that get this... he is "fear mongering" and "many children are now scared & he is speaking about conspiracies and its concerning to the students". First the teacher called him out for wearing the shirt and wearing the mask under his nose. My son replied, "well this shirt doesn't go against dress code and its in my right to wear it" (bam!), then the principal came in to give a "lecture" to the students about "covid safety" but because my son was giving "hugs" after school, the principal now deemed him a "safety hazard" and has to call all the parents of the children he hugged. The principal was livid on the phone and said that we need to talk to him about it because "this behaviour can't continue". She is lucky she got my husband, cus I would have ripped in to her.
