Why is Giorno dressed like Atlas on the cover of Volume 62? Giorno challenged Diavolo and the Mafioso of Passione just like how Atlas challenged the gods of Olympus. The chains represent him breaking free from fate. Him carrying the globe (ie The World) is symbolic of Giorno baring the sins of his father. The chains further represent how he is bound to Dio's legacy of evil against his will - no matter how much good Giorno does, he will forever be associated with Dio. What's this? You're not making a joke for once? Since when did you get so smart?! Always have been.
