12:57 Like גו Comment Share Paula DiLullo ... 2h · : I disagree very much with the sentiment some people are expressing regarding how happy they are masks have become more widely worn, as if we were all disgusting creatures inconveniencing one another by co- existing, making eye contact and shaking hands. It takes a lot of self-hate to express such things and a deep lack of understanding for basic immunology and how we develop strong systems. It is very healthy and normal for us to exchange energy as a part of regular social life. It keeps all of us healthier - no living organism is best kept healthy in 100% sterile environment. It weakens our immune systems collectively and causes real psychological damage. Human faces are where we derive most of our emotional intelligence from, and cutting us off from those visuals is blunting our capacity for empathy. There's science to back this claim , all one needs is a willingness to look. I am very saddened to hear people using fear in this manner to be brattish and judgmental while stuffing their ears to avoid basic social truths. They had me take down the small treefort that I built on this location with my sons during the pandemic. No longer will its presence offend your walk) past my house.
