Makes sense to me. Dark Souls 3 was the most streamlined entry in the series and brought nothing new, creative or original to the series and instead simply reused concepts from Dark Souls 1 including characters, areas, animations and the majority of weapon movesets.

Meanwhile it packed all of that into a linear world which had you go from point A to point B.
