blaming the chaos at the grocery store on the “bag lady” | /r/FuckYouKaren

Today I went to pick up a couple of things at Stop & Shop ink When I went to the check out my little one started to cry, and we know how babies can go fro 0-1000 in seconds. Anyway, I went to check out and there were 2 registers open. There were lines 3 deep and carriages full of groceries. The person in front of me was going to be about 10 minutes to finish tallying her order. The person bagging for my lane looked at me, and I asked her if she could open another register, she said no and turned her eyes away, we'll call her, bag lady.My baby was freaking and I walked up to her and asked her to call the manager. She did, and 5 minutes later, he showed up. He was briefed by bag lady and came to explained how short handed they were and he apologized. So I asked him if he knew how to scan groceries and he proceeded to try and recite why he couldn't as a manager and how sorry he was. I didn't catch what he said because the baby was crying quite loud. The best part is that when the bag lady finished the person in front of me, she left. Meanwhile they opened another lane, too late for me, and bag lady went to help the 10 items or less. She let my cashier scan my order, which was large too, and bag. Making the whole process slower for me and the kids. I just want to say how disappointed I was in this bag lady. First for being so insensitive, as a woman and as a human being. Second for her lack of compassion and with my 4 and 2 month grandsons. third for their lack of service to the customer. Never shopping there again.

I'm sorry but I have to refer you to our returns department, they evaluate all returns. I was informed that you first stated that they were too large, and then claimed they were not as described. You still have pants displayed incorrectly on the website. I will also be reporting this to the BBB.
