From S4E10b – Meteora's Lesson. So some spoilers: Glossy is teaching a baby Meteora on a lesson about dipping down, and he brings her back in time by a Giraffe man named Reynaldo who speak in riddles. Glossy sent himself & Meteora back in time to meet a young Toffee & his reptilian henchmen where Toffee proves that they're invincible by their regenerative abilities. This also explains the Lizard man's hatred of magic btw.
