OAnonymous 11/04/18(Sun)23:48:21 No.437828975 Ridley makes a point of being extra nice to everyone outside of battle, giving people gifts and doing favors for them, volunteering to cook, etc. This makes everyone like him a whole lot. They all think Samus is being way too harsh on him when she calls him evil and flips out on him and refuses to participate in activities he's involved with. This reaction, of course, is exactly what Ridley wants. One night Samus finally breaks down and reveals to everyone that Ridley murdered her parents and the rest of her colony, which is why she holds such a grudge. Revealing this trauma is the hardest thing Samus has ever done, it drains her emotionally and leaves her a sobbing wreck, she has never talked about it with anyone. After a period of awkward silence, Captain Falcon speaks first. "I don't know, Samus... you say you were 3 at the time? Are you sure you're remembering that correctly?" Lucina chimes in: "Yeah, that doesn't sound like the Ridley I know." Wario: "I don't believe her. Ridley's a cool guy, wah. Later that night, Samus watches from the corner, silently crying, while Ridley entertains everyone with his anecdotes and excellent impressions of famous celebrities (His Donald Trump is especially hilarious). Amidst all the laughter and banter, Ridley flashes Samus a knowing grin.
