I may rant about this chapter on another image. There are a few words I need to backtrack on regarding anime vs manga based on how Toyotaro betrayed me with this chapter, after delivering perhaps his best one in chapter 38.

This is probably the least harmful part of what I disliked, and that is why Gohan doesn't require to turn SSJ anymore. It is not like we were given an explanation before, but the Elder Kaioshin's line about transformations not being everything and Gohan trying to turn SSJ felt like he can access all of his powers without wasting unnessecary stamina (in addition of being gifted with amazing plot magic power increase).
