UPDATE (February 22, 2018): I made a major mistake on providing a reference of Meghan McCarthy. Apparently, there's two: one a writer for My Little Pony; the other a youtube star around my age (born 1991). I accidently used the youtube star for reference, but now the image is changed with the MLP writer.

The burdens of leading a franchise involves managing production, budget, marketing, staff, all that economic and business stuff. Then there's dealing with the polarized fans/fandoms/fanbase.

Within a fan convention, Meghan McCarthy represents the MLP side; Takashi Iizuka for Sonic.

Meghan McCarthy is chosen because she writes and is involved in most parts of MLP. There's probably someone higher than her, like a director or some higher-up in Hasbro, but she's one that's recognizable after Lauren Faust. Takashi Iizuka is the pretty much involved in all Sonic games if not most. His recent interviews and speeches usually has a translator with him.

Starlight Glimmer/Sally Acorn rant: I brought those up because fans have mixed feelings with them. Some fans like Starlight; some fans dislike Starlight. Some fans like Sally; some fans dislike Sally and/or don't want her in the upcoming IDW comics.

Sonic has green eyes; Twilight has wings!: Those are old, but I want to involve those.

Why is Spike/Tails so useless?!: I haven't seen much of them doing much recently.

Are Applejack and Pinkie related; is Silver descended from Shadow?: That had to be brought up from the MLP side in the Fame and Misfortune episode. I remember hearing some talks of Shadow being the ancestor of Silver for Archie, but that had to be scrapped as Sega wouldn't approve and to avoid potential shipping backlash.

No crossovers with Sonic/MLP: Both vocal sides say this! And it really frustrates me in my efforts of promoting the crossover AND mediating both sides to get along.
