Heh heh, ya know Jimbo. France imposed a "colonial debt" to be paid by its former colonies, mostly in Africa for the infrastructure built and France during the colonial times and the confiscation of the colonies national reserves. Which means that the colonies are forced to put 65% of their foreign currency reserves in the French Treasury and 20% for financial liabilities "suffered" by France during its colonial rule. Also, France supported brutal dictatorships of it former colonies like Bokassa and took part in overthrowing those who didn't support the debt like Sankara. Even the former French president, Jacques Chirac, said that France would be third world power without Africa. Nearly all the 14 of the former French colonies only have access to 15% of their own money. Aint that just quackin' crazy?!?!?!?
