Women, Weapons Warfare II Do you all remember the social studies teacher that took a gun in to the classroom and barricaded himself in Georgia? Well, it seems he had quite a past of mental health episodes which included disappearing from class and being found blocks away sitting on a curb, telling police he wanted to hurt himself AND walking into a police station claiming he killed someone. None of these episodes got him removed from being in class with students and getting him the help he apparently needed. Another failure of a school to weed out problem people. The national media will point out how dangerous it is to have teachers with guns by using this case but they won't give national attention to tell us the back story and the failures by authorities to act on his odd behavior prior to the incident. Channel, former Netflix and apparently future NBC talk show host has armed security guards who don't kill children, but the notion that they don't carry handguns that discharge spent cartridges and load a round of ammunition automatically on each trigger pull is dumbfounding and impossible to believe. Either Handler has employed armed security personnel who employ questionable defensive tactics or Ms. Handler, an outspoken proponent of gun control laws, doesn't have a fundamental understanding of the weapons she advocates to regulate.
