The nekomimi and a particular discussion about what precisely moe was spurred an attempt to NHK her (see Pururin) And thus was bon a joke by an anonymous 2chan artist. However, through repeated repostings here, largely by myself she gained a (very) small following here, mostly consisting of anons who would post "WHAT HAS SCIENCE DONE?" or "KILL IT WITH FIRE!" or the most hurtful "KILL ME". One particularly anon asked her name.
