This was done before her official reveal (hence the colors and design) and even though there are hints that her weapon is a sword (based on the sky arena statues) I'd like to think Connie's dialogue in Open Book was a hint of a Diamond's weapon.

Of course She could be like Rose whose default weapon was a shield but still used a sword.
