I'm a '90s kid and I have something to announce , like most millenials, have always praised the old cartoons for how good they were. I as a kid at that time figured that, like most things, evolution → cartoons could only get better! But I of course was extremely dissapointed... I then turned into one of those people who would preach "all new cartoons are bad and only the old ones were good" But something changed me... l was introduced to several new shows which then got me into other new It was then that I realized that we were entering an entirerly new era of cartoons! An era in which shows should be judged based on whether or not they have good NOT on if they're ust "old or new" Good writing Poor writing Because plenty of shows today have some of THE BEST writing I've EVER seen in cartoons. They touch very real topics such as beauty despite body type Expression to love anyone / the LGBT community yourself for family and people you care for And going out of your way to help others even with nothing in return. These shows demonstrate optimisim and model how to act with a good heart They also show that it's ok to mess up as long as you continue to have good intentions and aim to make things right EN Its a brave new world for these ambitious cartoons; they put honest efforts in their stories and attention to detail in their animation Not to mention all the action and entertainment! So yes, I may be a generation Y kid but I can happily say that cartoons have indeed evolved and are finally taking rise to popularity once again!
