![SONIC HEADCANONS HEOGECANONS There was a point right after they'd met that Sonic considered not taking Tails under his wing. Not because he didn't like having the little fox's company, but because how dangerous his adventures can get [and was often unsure of the responsibility on taking care of a child]. After an event that left the fox cub injured, he thought of dropping him off at a family that'll give him love and care most of all, safety.
