Both of them are good natured goat people who lost their kids. And both of them had sad action tune when you fight them since none of them want to hurt you Don't forget they're both incomplete without the other Toriel's house has no garden. She has no tea to serve with her meals. The tree out front is dying and can't keep its leaves. The only plants that survive are low maintenance ones, typha and carnegia. Even the potted plant on her table is dead There are flower seeds lying forgotten in the drawer by what should have been Asgore's room Asgore's house has no one to tend the fire; the tools are for gardening instead. The big reading chair sits unused but not forgotten. No one bakes, no homemade meals to go with his tea And even after all this time, he's still trying to recreate her butterscotch pies. I knew Asgore's house showed signs of her absence, but I never realized it was mutual until I went back to Toriel's Home. They're both nursing scars, empty places where their other half used to be.
