Plot The episode starts with all the gems discussing drill plans in the kitchen. Peridot quickly makes a smart remark about Pearl, saying how she can't just tell Amethyst around. Pearl and Peridot start fighting when a gem monster smashes through the front wall and goes for Peridot. Steven quickly saves her with his shield while Pearl sneaks up from behind and poofs it. Steven turns to Peridot who is scared and confused. Garnet says the project will have to be postponed due to this incident. Peridot exclaims why the drill has to wait, and gets into a lecture about the Cluster. Amethyst wonders what to do with the debris all over the floor and and asks Garnet to open here door. Peridot takes the wood and throws it in the Burning Room's lava pool. But a piece of wood launches out and pops Centipeetle's Bubble and the CHAAAPS Bubble. The Gem reforms while Peridot is yelling in fear of being attacked. Steven realizes Centipeetle was bubbled, and ran over to Centipeetle to hug her. Once she sees the Gems, Centipeetle freaks out and hides behind Peridot. Steven says she likes Peridot, and she returns that comment by asking how a Gem monster can like her. Steven laughs and says it's just a joke. Peridot tries to make a joke, and everyone falsely chuckles. The scene closes with Peridot askingwhat is wrong.
