Is Shovel Knight Coming to Smash Bros? Shovel Knight Amiibo Listed at Online Retailer AUGUST 21, 2015 /BY ELIA PALES Is Shovel Knight coming to Super Smash Bros? According to a new listing by Spanish retailer XtraLife, it appears so. The Spanish retailer has listed a Shovel Knight amiibo for the standard price of 14.95 Euro for a release on the 27th of November. Interestingly enough, the amibo is part of the Super Smash Bros amiibo series, indicating that the character is likely to come to Super Smash Bros as DLC. This news would not necessarily be a massive surprise. Earlier this year, Nintendo launched the Super Smash Bros Fighter Ballot, which allowed players to cast their vote for which character they would like to see added as a fighter to Super Smash Bros. It could be very likely that Shovel Knight had enough support on the ballot to be added in as DLO. Obviously, Nintendo has yet to confirm whether this amibo is legitimate, so this could very well just be a place-holder, or even not true. But, we will keep you updated as this story develops.
